The IBJJF mobile application ("App") is developed and maintained by the International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation ("IBJJF", "we", "our", or "us"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use the App.

• Associated athlete profiles (for legal guardians)

Important: The process for linking a guardian to a child's account is performed outside the app, via official IBJJF systems.

1.3 Technical and Usage Data

• Device type and OS version
• IP address
• App version and interactions (e.g., login timestamps)

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information for the following purposes:

• To authenticate your login and provide secure access to your membership card
• To allow legal guardians to view authorized dependents' membership cards
• To improve the App's functionality and performance
• To provide user support and respond to inquiries
• To maintain compliance with IBJJF regulations and policies

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell or rent your personal information.

We may share your data with:

• IBJJF official systems for data synchronization and verification
• Authorized service providers that help us maintain and operate the App (e.g., authentication services, secure cloud hosting)

The App may be used by legal guardians to view the membership cards of their registered dependents. The guardian-child relationship and authorization are managed outside the app through IBJJF's official system.

The App is not intended for direct use by children under the age of 13 without supervision.

We may use third-party services (e.g., Firebase for authentication or analytics) to enhance app performance and stability. These services may collect limited, non-identifiable information as necessary.
