2026 IBJJF Crown Announcement

The 2026 Crown is building a phenomenal list of athletes for its fourth edition. Forty-eight world-class competitors will converge inside the famous Long Beach Pyramid on November 8th with hopes of securing one of the most sought after trophies in the sport, as well as the $20,000 cash prize.

Francisco Papasidero is officially announced as the Crown ultra-heavyweight division’s fourth contender. Francisco joins Seif-Eddine, Thierry Felipe, and Helder Rodrigues as the first half of the bracket to be revealed.

Francisco returns to the Crown after delivering a remarkable performance in last year’s edition. The twenty-seven year old competitor has remained extremely active in recent years, and enters the event as the #4 ranked male black belt globally.
