3X Pan Champion Johnatha Alves of AOJ has been added to the IBJJF FloGrappling Lightweight GP. Johnatha came up through the colored belt ranks under IBJJF Hall of Fame members Guilherme and Rafael Mendes and was promoted to black belt in 2019. The Sao Paulo, Brazil native burst onto the black belt scene, winning the first major championship he competed in, the 2020 Pans. He used his elite level back attacks and pressure passing to secure two more Pan titles and countless gold medals at open tournaments across the country.
