Ana Mayordomo | Spain's Bright Young Star
Ana's Dominant Rookie Season Culminates in World Title Pursuit

Kingsway Jiu-Jitsu standout, Ana Mayordomo, is setting her sights on the 2025 No-Gi World Championships in Las Vegas, Nevada. Her campaign has been nothing short of dominant, highlighted by impressive gold medal victories at both the European and Pan Championships. With expectations soaring, Mayordomo aims to improve upon her bronze medal performance from last year's World Championships at this prestigious event.
In her first full season at the black belt level, Mayordomo has captured two major titles in spectacular fashion. She first took to the mats at the Pan Championships in early October, completing a three-match run to secure the gold medal. Leveraging her dangerous closed guard, Mayordomo secured two submissions en route to her finals victory, including her patented 'Anaplata'. This was followed by a dominant European Championship run, culminating in a decisive 9-2 finals victory over Liisi Vaht. Throughout both events, Ana showcased her versatility with a variety of submissions, affirming her exciting style on the major stage. Her game has clearly reached new heights since her semifinal exit at the 2024 No-Gi Worlds, which remains her last loss in IBJJF competition.
“I went into the last No-Gi Worlds ready to give it my all, but knowing that I was lacking some experience. This year I am just as hungry, and I have worked really hard to prepare for the ruleset, accumulate experience under black belt rules, and gain momentum by staying active throughout the season.”
The stage is now set for a strong No-Gi World Championship campaign in December. Confidence is understandably high for the Kingsway representative, who enters the year's final major event as one of the favorites to capture the division title. The path to gold, however, will be far from easy in the stacked Female Featherweight division. The bracket features elite talent, including 2025 Pan medalists Thaynara Victoria and Beatriz Campos, returning Worlds Bronze medalist Emily Nicholson, and a dangerous pair of Caio Terra black belts, Giovanah Silva and Maria Luiza. Additionally, Tayler Polhamus, a newly promoted black belt who dominated last year's brown belt division, is a notable contender. Yet, Mayordomo's toughest test may prove to be one of the world's top No-Gi athletes, Adele Fornarino, who is intensely pursuing her first black belt World Title. Fans are already hoping these two phenomenal athletes collide in the World Championship Final, ensuring all eyes will be on this marquee matchup.
“I think it is going to be one of the most stacked brackets in the black belt division, male or female,” Ana noted. “I have the skills necessary to win this division, and I will do my best to make it happen.”

Ana Mayordomo remains one of the most dangerous Featherweight athletes in the world and is a must-watch contender entering the final major event of the year. The Kingsway standout is determined to cap off her incredible rookie year by claiming the coveted No-Gi World Championship title. Regardless of the bracket's outcome, fans are guaranteed to witness high-level technique and relentless submission threats from the 25-year-old Spanish star.
“I’m always on the hunt for the sub, and I like to keep it funky! I’d love to put more of my submission games, from top and bottom, on display.”
