Kade Ruotolo Makes Makes His Black Belt Gi DEBUT At Absolute GP
The Atos prodigy will compete in the gi for the first time since the 2021 World Championships.
The IBJJF is thrilled to announce that Kade Ruotolo will compete on the upcoming IBJJF Absolute No-Gi Grand Prix card! Kade is one of the most exciting and dynamic competitors on the scene and is always a fan favorite whenever he steps on the mats. Though Kade has been training both with and without the gi since he was a kid, the past few years have seen the Atos prodigy compete primarily in no-gi. The last time we saw Kade in the gi was all the way back at the 2021 World Championships, when he met his brother Tye in the brown belt lightweight final. His highly anticipated black belt gi debut will be against European and Brasileiro silver medalist Natan Chueng of Fratres Jiu-Jitsu. This match is a clash of styles and is a perfect addition to the already stacked Absolute No-Gi GP card. Go to ibjjfgp.com to get tickets for the event. If you can't make it live, be sure to catch all the action on FloGrappling. The IBJJF Absolute No-Gi Grand Prix is sponsored exclusively by Kingz Kimonos.
