Gabrieli advanced to the final to face the last opponent to beat her at black belt, 5X World Champion Ana Vieira of Aviv Jiu-Jitsu. She pulled guard and scored the only points of the match using a lapel sweep variation. The match ended 2-0 and earned Gabrieli her seventh straight double gold at a major championship.
