World Champion Melissa Stricker Is Ready For The Women’s Heavyweight GP
Melissa Stricker is the latest addition to the IBJJF FloGrappling Women’s Heavyweight Grand Prix. The Alliance athlete was promoted to black belt in late 2018 and has since ascended to the top of the heavyweight division, reaching the #1 spot in the rankings. In 2021, Melissa won the biggest title of her career, taking gold at the World Jiu-Jitsu Championships after submitting her opponent in the final. Her latest major title came at the 2022 Pan Jiu-Jitsu Championships, where she again got a finish in the final. You can catch Melissa and the rest of the Women’s Heavyweight GP on Friday March 3rd.
