The 2023 Pan Kids, the premier kids jiu-jitsu tournament in the world, was an extraordinary showcase of young talent and dedication to the sport. With an astounding 2,700 competitors ranging from the Mighty Mite to the Teen divisions, the event was a testament to the growing popularity of jiu-jitsu among the youth. Held over three days at the Silver Spurs Area in Kissimmee, Florida, the tournament left participants and spectators in awe of the remarkable skills displayed by these young athletes.

Kids from all walks of life, representing various academies and regions from around the globe, gathered to vie for victory on the mats. The passion for the sport was apparent, and the young athletes were more than ready to put their training and hard work to the test.

There were many amazing teams that made their mark at the 2023 Pan Kids, but it was Gracie Barra that truly stole the show. They brought 198 competitors that showcased exceptional skill, determination, and teamwork throughout the tournament. Their efforts earned them first place finishes in the Mighty Mite, Junior, Teen, and Overall categories.

Not far behind was Art of Jiu Jitsu. The Costa Mesa based team made a strong statement, fielding 42 highly skilled young athletes that took first in the Pee Wee division and second in the Mighty Mite division. Their tenacity and technical prowess earned them a well-deserved second-place finish overall.

Many other academies showcased their talents and proved that the future of the sport is in excellent hands. Atos Jiu-Jitsu, Ares BJJ, Alliance, Carlson Gracie Team, and Fabin Rosa Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu all had impressive performances, with their young representatives displaying remarkable technique and passion for the sport.

One of the most inspiring aspects of the Pan Kids was witnessing the tremendous growth in the level of technique among the young athletes. Year after year, these kids continue to push the boundaries of what is possible, displaying skills and strategies that rival even some of the most seasoned adult competitors. This upward trend is a testament to the dedication of coaches, the hard work put in by these kids, and the ever-evolving nature of the sport.
