Roosevelt Sousa is the fifth athlete confirmed for the IBJJF Absolute No-Gi Grand Prix! Last year was undoubtedly the best year of Roosevelt Sousa’s career. In October, he won his first major black belt title, taking gold in Fort Worth, Texas at the Pan No-Gi. He followed that up with an even more impressive performance in Vegas at the Worlds No-Gi, where he took gold in the ultra heavyweight division and silver in the absolute. Now Roosevelt will take on the Absolute No-Gi Grand Prix, the first IBJJF Grand Prix of 2024. With one of the most devastating submission games in his division, Roosevelt will look to kick off 2024 with a bang. Don't miss the IBJJF Absolute No-Gi Grand Prix! The event takes place on Thursday, February 29th at the Hangar in Costa Mesa, California. You can watch the entire event live on FloGrappling.
