The 2026 Crown is building a phenomenal list of athletes for its fourth edition. Forty-eight world-class competitors will converge inside the famous Long Beach Pyramid on November 8th with hopes of securing one of the most sought after trophies in the sport, as well as the $20,000 cash prize.

Maria Alencar is officially announced as the fifth contender in the female super-heavyweight division. Maria joins a bracket loaded with talent, as she sets her sights on a Crown title.

Maria built considerable recognition through a fantastic color belt career. The 2025 World Championships witnessed the Atos product secure the brown belt open class title, signifying the end of her color belt career and beginning of her black belt journey.
