2X Pan No-Gi Champion Pedro Rocha Will Bring Submission Game to Absolute GP
The guillotine master will look to win the Absolute No-Gi GP title on February 29th.
The latest addition to the IBJJF Absolute No-Gi Grand Prix is 2X Pan No-Gi Champion Pedro Rocha. Pedro’s competition career took off as a brown belt, where he collected important titles both with and without the gi. His success ultimately led to his black belt promotion in 2019, a rank that was awarded to him by his highly accomplished brother, Joao Gabriel Rocha. As a black belt, Pedro’s biggest titles have come at the Pan No-Gi, where he won heavyweight gold in 2022 and the open class in 2023. With one of the best guillotines in the sport mixed with excellent takedowns and guard passing, Pedro has developed a game that is both fan friendly and highly efficient. You can watch Pedro compete at the IBJJF No-Gi Absolute Grand Prix on Thursday, February 29th. This event is sponsored by Kingz Kimonos and can be watched exclusively on FloGrappling.
