2X World Champion Fellipe Andrew Is The Final Athlete In The Crown’s Heavyweight Division
Fellipe will look to become the inaugural Crown heavyweight champion.
The IBJJF Crown is the organization’s biggest professional event to date, with twenty four athletes competing for cash prizes and glory. 2X World Champion Fellipe Andrew has been making waves in the sport since he first started competing at the black belt level in 2018. The Alliance heavyweight earned his most recent heavyweight title at the 2023 World Championships. Now, Fellipe is set to join The Crown's heavyweight division, pitting his skills against some of the best heavyweights in the world. What sets Fellipe apart from many other competitors is not just his talent but his consistency. For four consecutive seasons, he’s held the #1 ranking among adult male black belts. His dedication to competing at both major tournaments and local open events is a testament to his desire to continually challenge himself and evolve his game. He’ll be joining Uanderson Ferreira, Francisco Lo, and Gustavo Batista in the division, three accomplished black belts looking to further solidify their status as elite competitors in the sport. Can Fellipe Andrew claim the inaugural heavyweight Crown? With his impressive titles, unmatched consistency, and a will to always strive for improvement, Fellipe is undoubtedly a frontrunner in this division. The Crown takes place on Sunday, November 19th, at the Pyramid in Long Beach, California. Watch the event live, exclusively on flograppling.com.
