On Sunday November 19th, the IBJJF’s biggest professional jiu-jitsu event yet is coming to the Walter Pyramid in Long Beach, California. The Crown will feature six divisions, four male and two female, and will award $15k in prize money to each of the division winners. Weight divisions will be as follows:

Male:

Rooster - Featherweight = 70kg (154.6lbs)

Light - Middleweight = 82.30 kg (181.6 lbs)

Medium-Heavy - Heavyweight = 94.30 kg (208 lbs)

Super Heavy - Ultra Heavyweight = No maximum weight

Female:

Rooster - Lightweight = 64 kg (141.6 lbs)

Medium-Heavy - Super Heavyweight = No maximum weight

Brackets will consist of four athletes per division for 2023 and will move to eight athletes per division in 2024 and beyond. Cash prizes will be awarded to 1st ($15k), 2nd ($3k). This event has been years in the making and will showcase the best and most exciting black belts on the competition scene, live on FloGrappling.
