Alliance started off the Worlds strong, delivering outstanding performances from its blue, purple, and brown belt competitors. These performances allowed Alliance to take the lead heading into the black belt finals on Sunday.

With powerhouse teams like AOJ, Dream Art, Checkmat, and Atos in close contention, every point mattered. The title was not secured until the final matches of the weekend. Alliance’s black belts rose to the occasion as Jalen Fonacier, Leonardo Mario, Leonardo Ferreira, Marcus “Scooby” Ribeiro, Elizabeth Mitrovic, and Tayane Porfirio all made it onto the podium. With these critical results, Alliance managed to edge out AOJ by a final score of 86 to 74.
