2026 IBJJF Crown Announcement

The 2026 Crown is building a phenomenal list of athletes for its fourth edition. Forty-eight world-class competitors will converge inside the famous Long Beach Pyramid on November 8th with hopes of securing one of the most sought after trophies in the sport, as well as the $20,000 cash prize.

Mica Galvao has officially been announced as the sixth middleweight contender in the 2026 Crown. The standout athlete returns to the prestigious Pyramid to compete amongst fellow world-class competitors for Crown acclaim.

Mica has proven himself to be one of the most elite competitors of his generation. At just twenty-two years of age, Mica has achieved many of the biggest feats in jiu-jitsu. His return to the spotlight comes after two years away from IBJJF major competition.
