2026 IBJJF Crown Announcement

The 2026 Crown is building a phenomenal list of athletes for its fourth edition. Forty-eight world-class athletes will converge inside the famous Long Beach Pyramid on November 8th. The fourth edition of the Crown offers top athletes an opportunity to secure one of the most sought-after trophies in the sport, as well as the $20,000 cash prize.

Tarcisio Santos is the latest Crown contender to be announced, and the first middleweight athlete. The rookie black belt has mounted strong momentum ahead of the November 8th event, forcing fans to look into his competitive journey. 

Tarcio Santos - New Generation Contender

The Marcio Andre product entered the 2025 season as a purple belt, and finalized the campaign as a black belt. Highlight moments included a Gi Worlds bronze medal at purple belt and a brown belt No-Gi World title.

At the black belt level Tarcisio has remained extremely active while delivering standout performances. Ten gold medals and a fascinating World Championship bronze medal outing have earned Tarcisio well-deserved attention.
